On Car and Driver’s 0.56-mile handling course, the Civic not only had the fastest lap, but was also the fastest through each of the six sectors, from hairpins to straightaways.

Faster Through the Corners

The Civic showed its poise by holding curves at higher speeds than the competition, exiting the second corner at 68.4 miles per hour—more than a full car length ahead of the pack.
